New Flights between New York (Newark) and Buenos Aires with United Airlines

United Airlines will begin daily non-stop service between its hub at Newark Liberty International Airport and Buenos Aires, Argentina’s, Ministro Pistarini International Airport on April 6th. This is United’s first service from Newark Liberty to =Buenos Aires. The airline also offers daily non-stop flights to Buenos Aires from Houston. “The New York/Newark-Buenos Aires route gives East Coast travellers direct connections between two of the major business and tourism destinations in the Americas,” said John Slater, United’s vice president – sales for the Americas. The new flight, UA847, will depart New York/Newark at 21:50, arriving in Buenos Aires at 09:35 the next day. The return flight, UA846, will depart Buenos Aires daily at 20:10, arriving in New York/Newark at 06:13 the next day. New British Airways flights to Buenos Aires

More than 120 new air services will begin from UK airports over the next three months, it has been announced. The new routes are spread across 27 separate UK airports, according to airline network organisation anna.aero. Manchester airport, with 16, has the most new routes, followed by Gatwick (15) and Heathrow (12). Jet2, which starts a new base at Glasgow this summer, is the airline with the most new routes (24), followed by Ryanair (19) and easyJet (13). British Airways is starting eight new services, including flights to Buenos Aires and San Diego from Heathrow and Malaga and Marrakech from Gatwick. Argentinian national airline Aerolineas Argentinas is cutting the Sydney-Buenos Aires flight stop in Auckland from 1 July, a blow for savvy travellers who used the flights for better seats and service across the Tasman. Flight times will be shaken up from 1 July too, with South America-bound flight AR1183 departing Sydney at 1830 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Buenos Aires at 1910 the same day (after crossing the international date line). AR1182 will leave Buenos Aires at 0830 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, arriving in Auckland for a brief refuelling stop at 1310 the next day. The flight will continue -- without dropping off or picking up passengers -- at 1440, arriving in Sydney at 1630. Fly to Buenos Aires on the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner

LAN Airlines will use its first two Boeing 787-8s on routes from Santiago to Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, Madrid and Frankfurt beginning in the fouth quarter. Speaking Monday during the FIDAE airshow, LAN’s marketing director Pedro Margozzini said the first two airplanes are to be delivered in the fourth quarter. He declined to be more specific. The Los Angeles flight will be via Lima, Peru, and the Frankfurt flight will connect through Madrid. LAN has ordered 22 787-8s and 10 long-range 787-9s, accounting for the bulk of the 49 airplanes Boeing has sold or will place through leases in Latin America, so far. Eventually, LAN will replace its five Airbus A340s with the 787s, but Margozzini says the airline’s need for fleet growth means the A340s “will be with us for a long time.” The airline will continue to receive 787s through 2018.
